Collection #9

We are Antiform.

Made in England since 2007, we’re a forward thinking fashion company with an irregular twist, pushing the boundaries of ethical, sustainable design by using reclaimed materials and mixing fashion forward shapes with heritage craft.

// Materials & Design

All of the materials and workmanship involved in the production of Antiform clothing is sourced locally to our studio in Bristol, England and our previous studio in Leeds, England.

Antiform’s concept all about making transitional pieces that evolve slowly over the seasons, working with bold witty shapes and eclectic fabric choices. Our range includes high quality textiles waste from local UK producers, including a new collaboration with a leading Bristol based weave design house and jersey from heritage mills. Our range includes high quality textiles waste from local UK producers, including a new collaboration with a leading Bristol based weave design house and jersey from heritage mills.

// Collection #9

For Collection 9 we have used hand-crafted techniques, from knitwear with a traditional Cornish knitter to hand-loomed woven trims. For the Spring/Summer season we have brought together an eccentric mix of textiles including vintage silks, knitted cotton, high stretch jodpur, crepes and vintage suiting. For Autumn/Winter, garments feature wool boucle, brushed cotton, high stretch jodpur, crepes and vintage suiting.

// Brand Heritage

Antiform was established by Lizzie Harrison in 2010, and is run by an experienced team of local designers, researchers and doers. As well as designing and making clothing we have a wealth of experience in sustainable fashion design, textiles upcycling and local fashion systems. Lizzie Harrison and the Antiform team are available for lecturing, installation work, curatorial projects, undertaking research, consultancy, freelance design work, sampling and UK production.
