Before any of the public are even thinking about next season, we’re busy scouring Bristol for the best emerging talent and coolest of the cool businesses to collaborate with on our notoriously fun photo shoots. Don’t be fooled by some of the seriously badass expressions on the polished edit, between our awesome models and brand director Lizzie’s penchant for mixing up a strong cocktail ours shoots always go off with a bang!
This season we were privileged to takeover the ground floor of our new neighbours Two’s Company Studios on Old Market in the centre of Bristol. With the resident artists, designers and makers working hard upstairs we snuck in, set up the lights, and shipped in the whole collection along with our myriad styling accessories including M-24 bags which are made up the road in Somerset. Kate uses one of her rucksack collection every single day on the cycle to the studio and they always get attention on King Street during after work drinks.
Our super healthy and delicious lunch was provided by our favourite food in the city – Tiffin Time! Also found in Old Market, Tiffin Time has great big lunchboxes get us through our ever busy weeks and keep us on the move with three different side salads per box (this particular week we were treated to moussaka). Katie’s carb free offerings are famous round our way, you always see the team doing deliveries by bike, they did us proud on shoot day when we need energy more than ever.
As for our models…
Penelope Gwen is an incredible make-up artist and model who also makes great youtube tutorials to help you recreate her colourful make up transformations yourself. From the colourful to the conceptual they’re well worth a look – whether you’re a pro with the makeup brush or not!
Rosie Jane Douglas is an actress and model – she’s so striking and we were thrilled to have her infectious smile lighting up the studio (though it didn’t end up in many pics because she looks so good giving major attitude!). Currently in her third year of uni, Rosie’s been keeping herself super busy building up her portfolio and being involved in a few filming projects that unfortunately we can’t say any more about yet – but watch this space!
Natalie Manfield we discovered in Ted Baker in Cabot Circus – with the most fantastic orange hair and beautiful face she got the full Antiform doorstepping treatment and luckily for us agreed to be a model for a day, needless to say she was a natural!
So you’ve had a very sneaky peek, check out the new collection which is available to purchase online now as well as in stockists across Europe. Get in touch for vegan fabric options, bespoke versions of your favourite pieces, or even to book in to visit the studio if you want to try the collection before you buy.
If you think you have the attitude and energy of an Antiform model we’re always looking to make new friends and always love a broad mix of ages and genders in our shoots too – if you’re interested in working with us, just get in touch!
