Collection #9 Creative Squad – The Bristol Faces Behind Our New Collection!

Now that our new designs for the second half of Collection #9 are fast approaching release (get on our mailing list to preorder!), we’re beginning to think we should open a modelling agency.

As a brand we pride ourselves on showcasing people from across the city (previously Leeds, now Bristol) who share what we’d call ‘the Antiform look’ and can rock an outfit with a healthy dose of their own personal style.

Not only do we manage to source the most naturally gorgeous people to show off the collection to its best season after season – it’s also a great opportunity to meet likeminded creative types! That’s exactly what was granted us by Collection 9’s talented squad. Check out the cool people we worked with on our shoot this year and what they get up to when they’re not working with us!

MODEL // LYDIA

Lydia is our gorgeous studio buddy. She has a stunning expressive face and masses of tumbling long hair. Her look and personality exudes summer and she was keen to get involved with the notoriously fun Antiform shoot day.

She’s currently working on a fantastic creative project called Made My Wardrobe, over a year she’s making from scratch her dream garments. Get in touch with her for more details or if you have your own dream garment in mind, she’s just lovely!

@Manjimeow

MODEL // MANJI

Supercool Manji brought a dancer’s poise and attitude to proceedings.  Manji models professionally and is full of energy, smiles and poses. We first worked with her on our collaborative tropical shoot with @filthysquirrelclothing and @swankjewellery where we got a flavour of her summery vibes, we knew she was the perfect person to bring sunshine to a January shoot!

MODEL // STACEY

We met Stacey through the brilliant @naomiswood – our fantastic photographer this season.  Stacey is an illustrator and model based in Bristol. We knew she was our perfect third model but we were yet to learn that she’d have such a great energy and chilled out demeanour! Stacey brought to the shoot English Rose complexion with sleek dark hair to match – you can see more of Stacey on Naomi’s luscious new website naomi-wood.com

ACCESSORIES // A PECULIAR GRACE

Our clever upholsterer friend A Peculiar Grace makes very cool cuboid necklaces using offcuts of wood from the furniture she works on – tying in perfectly with Antiform’s love for reclaimed materials. I keep mine on an antique gold chain and it came in very handy on photoshoot day.  We love the knots in the wood, which make sure that each necklace is unique.
